Join Antonia Syme, director, Australian Tapestry Workshop (ATW) for an introduction to the exhibition of the Tapestry Design Prize for Architects 2018 Finalists and the 22 Temenggong Road, Twilight tapestry, followed by celebratory drinks.

The Tapestry Design Prize for Architects 2018 Finalists exhibition surveys the international response to David Walsh AO's challenging brief – to design a tapestry, which considers both geometry and chaos for the hypothetical site of Étienne-Louis Boullée's Cenotaph for Newton. This mooted building was the inspiration for the Fender Katsalidis Architects' Pharos Wing, Museum of Old and New Art.

The 22 Temenggong Road, Twilight tapestry is TDPA 2016 first prize-winning design by Singaporean based architect Justin Hill, created in close collaboration by the weavers of the ATW.

The Tapestry Design Prize for Architects 2018 is a partnership between the Australian Tapestry Workshop, MONA and Architecture Media.
