This workshop is for Indigenous middle school students (years 4, 5 and 6) and their teachers. It is a day of architecture, design and making at State Library of Queensland, brought to you by UQ Architecture. Architecture staff from the Aboriginal Environments Research Centre, UQ graduates and student mentors will provide a day of activities learning about both Indigenous and non-Indigenous architecture. The day will including drawing, model making, a lantern workshop and will culminate with a real building activity on Miawar Green at sunset. Please submit an expression of interest in Bookings.
