The Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation (SCAF) announces the fourth iteration of Fugitive Structures. Fugitive Structures 2016 debuts Vo Trong Nghia’s newly commissioned pavilion at the Asia Pacific Architecture Forum. The presentation in Brisbane will be Nghia’s first Australian exhibition and this project will be the first significant architectural installation exhibited on the State Library Queensland forecourt. Following its presentation in Brisbane, the pavilion will be re-installed at SCAF, Sydney in June. Fugitive Structures is an annual architectural and cultural series for emerging and mid-career architects. The selected architects are invited to design an imaginative and functional small-scale temporary pavilion for SCAF’s courtyard garden.

This project is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
